Join us at LVUC for Sunday Worship on October 25 at 10:30am! When Jesus tells us to love God and our neighbours, he is speaking about something that touches our everyday lives and the way we relate to one another. Throughout his ministry, Jesus shared meals with people from different walks of life, including those who were often overlooked. These moments around the table tell us something about who Jesus is and how he understood people. As we conclude our reflections on World Food Sunday, we will think about what it means to share a table, to recognize the people around us, and to understand our relationships through the life of Christ. Drawing on Bonhoeffer's idea of being for others, we will also reflect on what it means to be a church that belongs to Christ and shares in his life. This Sunday, we will welcome EunJung Oh to lead worship.
