Join us for a special lunch and learn, specifically tailored for attendees who are striving to live their healthiest lives and age in place through their senior years! On October 20 from 11:00am to 1:00pm, LVUC will partner with Comfort Keepers, an award-winning in-home care company that helps seniors and other adults live comfortably and independently, to host a set of expertly-led presentations. You're invited to come learn from Mike Beishuizen of Westcoast Wills and Estates and Judie Dahl from La Concierge Moving as they walk attendees through the foundations of wills and estate planning, as well as moving and in-home services for best senior living practices.

Mike Beishuizen has always had a passion for wills and estate planning law, and as a consequence, he founded Westcoast Wills & Estates. He regularly advises clients on estate planning and prepares wills, trusts, representation agreements and powers of attorney. He also advises and helps clients apply to court for probate and committeeship orders. His presentation will cover the core elements of effective estate planning, as well as how wills, powers of attorney, and representation agreements work together to protect families and ensure decisions are made according to a person’s wishes. He will also discuss common pitfalls and how proper planning prevents conflict, delay, and unintended outcomes. He expects attendees to leave with a confident understanding of how to build a solid, legally sound estate plan.
Judie Dahl is the Founder and CEO of La Concierge Moving & in-Home Services. With a background in the fast-paced entertainment industry, Judie has mastered the art of managing details and guiding demanding transitions. She now uses those skills to help clients simplify overwhelming transitions like downsizing, moving, and age-at-home set-up, offering steady support and making her an invaluable partner on the journey to new beginnings. In this session, she will discuss the “how to's” of downsizing and thoughtful planning for the next phase of your life.
