Healing Pathway is a faith-based healing modality developed within the United Church that works with and restores balance to an individual’s energetic field. Changes may be experienced on a physical, mental, emotional and/or spiritual level, with the goal of awakening the body’s innate healing ability.
Healing does not necessarily mean cure- the healing process invites God to restore balance and wholeness of body, mind and spirit. Healing occurs within, and that shift or change is realized in relationships, in community and on to all of creation. Healing Pathway is a non-invasive, effective, natural and gentle application that complements, but is not a substitute for, conventional medical approaches.
The Center for Spiritual Practices is working to establish a roster of trained volunteer practitioners who can offer healing sessions to people on a regular basis. Unfortunately, our Phase 1 Healing Pathway Workshop originally planned be held at LVUC in mid-April has been cancelled due to the Covid-19 pandemic. However, another workshop will be rescheduled when safe to do so.
