Rev. Karen Millard began working with us in July 2023, and is now our Lead Minister (previously the Transition Minister until July 2026). Karen has worked as the Lead Minister in Smithers, BC (2007-2009) and Squamish, BC (2009-2023). Prior to working as a full-time Minister, Karen worked as a Youth Worker/Staff Associate at North Lonsdale United Church. Karen has a background in youth work, social work, and counselling. She also holds a degree in Family Systems Theory Counseling. Karen looks forward to continuing to work with Lynn Valley United, growing in faith and life together.
