LVUC congregants camp out at our congregational retreat

Those who attended our annual congregation retreat had an amazing time “Weaving our Stories” together. This was a wonderful opportunity of connecting and getting to know one another better. 

One of the best parts of this weekend for families has become setting up tents around the campfire in the centre of the sanctuary. Friday night we enjoyed camp songs and worship, story telling, games, laughter and a whole lot of fun. 

Saturday began with worship followed by an amazing pancake brunch. As we continued to weave stories we had fun acting out stories of scriptures which gave us an opportunity to learn more about stories we did and didn’t know. Kelly lead us on an informative history walk of the local community in the afternoon and then we came back, packed up and prepared for the next day. Sunday morning, we carried on our all ages worship and theme surrounding the campfire and accompanied by Macky on guitar.
