Our Lynn Valley Amblers “final” results are in: $5115! (That amount was raised by 8 team members and came from 78 donors, including 12 from the congregation.
Pretty impressive!
The money goes to support First United, which enjoyed its best year ever in this event: $130,231.81at last count. On the scoreboard we came in at #9 out of 31 teams raising funds for First United to support their work on Vancouver’s
Downtown Eastside.
All the Coldest Night walkers, all across Canada, remind their communities that the
hungry and hurting are not alone, not overlooked. They can inspire year-round
caring.
