Mission and Service Christmas Message

The story of Jesus’ birth serves as a reminder that the Spirit speaks to us through the voices of those who are on the margins―those without power, privilege, and influence.

Through Mission & Service, we as a United Church commit to support those on the margins. Whether in our advocacy work, emergency response, or justice programming, your generosity helps us collectively act in the way of Jesus.

I want to thank all of you who added or increased you giving to Mission and Service at LVUC this past year. Giving this year was up substantially which is a true blessing. In order to stay in connection with Mission and Service and to be informed what you gifts to Mission and Service are being used for I suggest you go to the Connect with Mission and Service web page and take advantage of all the methods to keep informed provided. They have a monthly newsletter, Facebook,, YouTube and Stories and photos to keep you informed.

Please at this time of year consider as part of your Christmas giving a special gift to Mission and Service. You can make gifts to Mission and Service by providing a designated gift as part of you LVUC giving.
