You Probably Were!

What a great picnic! 57 of us came together at Princess Park last Sunday for “the BEST congregational picnic I can remember,” according to one old-timer. Truly multigenerational, participants ranged in age between 2 and almost 90; families, couples, and singles were all well represented. There was a wonderful potluck buffet to accompany the KFC supplied by the church.

We took advantage of the opportunity to meet new people and to visit with familiar faces. A marked degree of
athleticism was exhibited in numerous sporting endeavours ranging from classic Frisbee to the creative use of the official LVUC “Prayachute.” Hula hoop champions were Marilyn M.,Tanaz and Dylan.

Thanks to Eric and the Children Youth and Family Team, Moana, all the cooks, and everyone who made it such fun for all.

Thank you so much for making the annual LVUC picnic such a fun day! Clearly a lot of work went into this event. Annie and I were grateful to be part of it. Thank you for tolerating our little dogs. I see Tao photobombed one of the pictures!
