Dear family and friends of Lynn Valley United Church,

We are aware that the rise in Coronavirus cases due to the delta variant, many of you have concerns about onsite worship and being in close proximity to others. It will take time for all of us to get comfortable once again and we need to be careful how we manage people’s expectations and the concern for the safety of all. Based on new provincial restrictions and under the guidance of the Pacific Mountain Regional Council, effective August 25, 2021:

 Masks are required to be worn at all times on our premises.
 Masks are required to be worn during congregational singing.
 Greeters are required to wear masks and be double vaccinated.
 You are encouraged to maintain a reasonable distance from one another (unless from the same household)
 If you are feeling unwell, have been in contact with a COVID positive person in the last 14 days, or have travelled outside of Canada please wait 14 days before coming.
 For tea/refreshment the following precautions are required:
a. Servers are required to wear masks and gloves and be double vaccinated.
b. Only one person is to be in the kitchen at the same time.
c. Coffee will be available before and after Service however, no snacks will be provided at this time.
 Small groups such as the Board of Governance, Waves, and Spiritual Practices are required to wear masks and be double vaccinated to meet in person.
