Policy Forum: Pre-AGM

Policy sets the parameters for how this church is run. The Policy Committee is a drafting committee: it takes the will of the Board of Governance and puts it into words that guide/govern future action by the staff and teams and the board itself. After the Board approves the work of the Policy Committee, the policy is effective until the AGM.

In 21-22, the Policy Committee was busy! It created 10 new policies/amendments to existing policies. All of these have to be ratified at the AGM, or else they die. So you will need to vote on them at the AGM; please don't leave it til then to review them.

The Policy Committee will walk through the changes with you and answer any questions  you have on Tuesday May 17 at 7 pm at the church.
