On Sunday November 27, 2022 we will mark the ending of the covenant between Franklyn James, Lynn Valley United Church, and the Pacific Mountain Regional Council. I feel very privileged to be able to take part in this service. I approach this time with both sadness and with gladness. When Franklyn James first arrived here I remember Veronica and I taking him to the Black Bear for lunch and being so very excited by his vision and love of the Lord. His ministry has been a wonderful blessing to me. Our times together in Waves, in policy meetings, with the finance team and the social justice team have all been wonderful and I count Franklyn James as a good friend who I plan on keeping in contact with. It is with sadness I say goodbye to him now but it is with great hope and gladness that I look forward to what God has waiting for him.
I know that there are many here who have appreciated Franklyn James ministry and will miss him. As a suggestion, if you would like to, I would suggest writing a note to give to him on Sunday November 27 letting him know of your feelings. If you are unable to do that you might like to send him a card to his new address:
West River United Church
P.O. Box 89
Cornwall, PEI

He will be there by January 1, 2023. Franklyn I just want to wish you and your new ministry many wonderful blessings.
