First United's March 2024 Toast Talk and Annual Report

As Lynn Valley United Church continues to support First United towards their building's redevelopment, they have continued to keep the community and their donors engaged and involved through their Toast Talks series. These thrice-yearly information sessions feature members of the First United team as they offer updates, insights, and information about their work, and all are welcome to attend.

In the March 2024 edition of Toast Talks (watch below), they discuss the progress of their redevelopment and celebrate everything they have achieved together in 2023 through discussion of their 2023 Annual Report. We also hear from Dr. Heather F. Clarke, Board Chair at First United, and Amanda Burrows, Executive Director of First United, who share some of the highlights and accomplishments of the last fiscal year. We are also excited to welcome Reverend Cari Copeman-Haynes, Lead Minister at Crossroads United Church, to preach this Sunday. Then, after the service, Amanda Burrows will tell us more about what is happening at First and the progress of the building project, followed by a Q&A.
