The Spiritual Practice of Yoga
While yoga is derived from eastern faith practices, there are many aspects that support connecting to the innate spiritual center within each individual shared with Christian contemplation. At LVUC, yoga is offered as a way to connect body, mind and spirit to promote overall health and well-being through movement and meditation. It is a gentle practice suitable for all levels and adaptable for those with mobility challenges.
Several 6 week sessions are offered throughout the year, some working within a theme to help connect intentions and physical action. Sessions are run as church and instructors schedules allow, which means dates and times vary.
The hope is for there to be a 6 or 7 week session running before Easter, so keep your eyes on this page... and if you want to be added to the yoga info email list, please contact the church office.
