The Spiritual Practice of Healing

Healing Pathway is a faith-based healing modality developed within the United Church that works with and restores balance to an individual’s energetic field. Changes may be experienced on a physical, mental, emotional and/or spiritual level, with the goal of awakening the body’s innate healing ability.

Healing does not necessarily mean cure- the healing process invites God to restore balance and wholeness of body, mind and spirit. Healing occurs within, and that shift or change is realized in relationships, in community and on to all of creation. Healing Pathway is a non-invasive, effective, natural and gentle application that complements, but is not a substitute for, conventional medical approaches.

The Center for Spiritual Practices is working to establish a roster of trained volunteer practitioners who can offer healing sessions to people on a regular basis, and will be offering a Healing Pathway, Level 1 Training Course on November 16, 17 and 18, with details and registration coming soon. After the training session, watch this page for dates and times of healing sessions and information on how to book an appointment.
