Christmas in July
How do you celebrate Christmas in July? What do you need to make it work? What needs to come together to make this a joyful, fun, intergenerational event?
It took glorious imagination, a dream team to come together and breathe just the right amount of spiritual practices from walking the labyrinth, taking communion, to crafts, games, and fabulous jazzy Christmas carols from our talented pianist Dean. The children and adults enjoyed the shortbread cookies, juice, and little treats we offered. Our peeps from LVUC came as well as the community we welcomed into our space. Our message reached out to the community and they came. We continue to shine from the inside out.
Now, you just have to wait another 6 months, and we'll do it again.
