Affirming Ministry Survey

 
In the coming days, you will receive a survey from the Affirming Ministry Committee. It will come through the new email address rainbow@lynnvalleychurch.com.
 
This is our new email address that allows direct and confidential access to our Ministers Eric and Debra for those wanting to reach out to ask for help or support related to LGBTQ2s questions or concerns. You could even ask a question if you are an Ally and want to know how best to handle a certain situation that has arisen for you.
 
A couple of weeks ago in the eNews, we discussed the process of becoming an Affirming Congregation. The Process is not only to get to the point of achieving a “Yes” vote but to increase our congregation’s awareness of the issues faced by the LGBTQ2s community, to educate our congregation about this community, and to engage the interest of our congregation so you all understand why this is a cause that we should all be actively supporting and actively aware of.
 
This survey will ask some follow up questions to the survey we held in November. We want to know if our Committee has been on the right track in providing information. We want to know what else you need to know.
 
The survey will be sent out online and we would really appreciate it if every member of your household would complete it for themselves. If you would prefer to fill out the survey on paper, please let us know by contacting Moana in the office and we will arrange to have a survey delivered to your house and picked up again when you have completed it.
